On December 5 and 12, 2025, we held the 3rd Iwai Endoscopic Seminar. This seminar was first held in October 2019, followed by the second in July 2024, and this was our third time hosting the event.

The seminar is designed for doctors from other hospitals and aims to share safe and advanced techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery using endoscopes, which allow surgery through very small incisions.

As in the previous seminar, the program focused on two types of endoscopic spine surgery: UBE (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) and FESS (Full-Endoscopic Spine Surgery).
The UBE course was held at Inanami Spine & Joint Hospital, and the FESS course was held at Iwai Orthopaedic Hospital.
